Am Abend auf der Heide plot

The young pop composer Jürgen Holsten is a bon vivant who, after his only hit "Am Abend auf der Heide", has not written anything promising since then. When his income threatens to dry up and his publisher no longer gives him advances, he remembers the old farm that an uncle left him. Although Jürgen is not interested in a life as a heath farmer, he sees an opportunity to cash in on his inheritance. However, he changes his plans when he meets the beautiful and capable housekeeper Anne Brandt, who has lovingly cared for the farm for years.
