Alte Liebe plot

Lore and Harry have been married for nearly 40 years, and things are rarely quiet between them. Old stories, missed opportunities, and the uncertainties of retirement regularly lead to heated discussions. Lore fears she will wither away in the garden beside the recently retired Harry, while he longs for stability and inner peace. They do agree on one thing: their daughter Gloria has had little luck in love. Now she wants to marry for the third time—this time to a wealthy man who acts almost like a father to Harry.
