Als de Beat Dropt plot

The lives of Maya and Shem are intertwined. The 17-year-old girls are like yin and yang: Shem lives for the future, Maya lives in the here and now. On a cool summer evening, the friends look side by side at the starry sky. Shem has her ball clamped, Maya her joint. Melodic music plays in the background. Everything is right, until the beat drops. Fate strikes at lightning speed and relentlessly.
