All the Ships at Sea plot

Evelyn Bell, a Catholic professor of theology, and her younger sister Virginia are reunited after many years. Virginia has been expelled from a religious sect and returned home. At a lake retreat in Pennsylvania, the sisters try to mend their relationship. They talk about their very different belief systems and look back on their childhood.
