Alex struggles to adjust to her impending divorce until she is suddenly confronted by her husband's mistress. Alex was completely unaware of her existence and now views the end of her marriage in a completely different light. The mistress was also recently dumped by her husband and offers to help with the divorce. Alex is suspicious at first, but over time the two form an unusual alliance.
