All Souls' Eve plot
Sculptor Roger Heath's wife is murdered by a maniac for Roger's insanely jealous admirer Olivia Larkin. To care for his home and son Peter, Roger hires Irish immigrant Nora O'Hallahan as a nanny. At one point, he realizes that she is possessed by the soul of his dead wife.
