Alias Mrs. Jessop plot

Janet Ford, a poor orphan, is raised by Lillian's wealthy parents along with her mischievous identical cousin, Lillian. While Mr. Ford treats Janet kindly, Mrs. Ford remains cold. When Lillian is caught gambling, she convinces Janet to take the blame, and Mrs. Ford orders Janet to leave. Lillian marries Sir Anthony Jessop and settles in England. Jessop, who quickly tires of Lillian's frivolousness, finds satisfaction with their son, Bobby.
