Al Bahr Min Ouaraikoum plot

Tarik has lost his way. His life is shattered – broken, just like the beer bottle in the opening scene. He wanders apathetically in a colorless, surreal world. Or he wraps himself in veils and kohl pencil to dance hip-swaying for a few cents on a cart pulled by Larbi, his father's beloved horse. One day Larbi refuses to take another step. The vortex in Tarik's head accelerates from the rebound. Is there really something in the water, as everyone claims?
