Air Cadet plot

"Are you going to let that boy go up alone?"

During the Korean War, inexperienced recruits Russ Coulter, Joe Czanoczek, Walt Carver and Jerry Connell are trained as military jet pilots. The quartet gets a tough workout at Randolph Field. Upon completion of this training, the four cadets are transferred to Williams Air Force Base, where Russ Coulter meets the irresistible Janet Page. Janet turns out to be the wife of flight instructor Major Jack Page, from whom she is estranged.
