Agon plot
As the 2024 Ludoj Olympic Games approach, three female athletes prepare for and then compete in rifle shooting, fencing, and judo. These women are depicted against the political, social, technological, and physical backdrops that dominate the highest levels of sporting competition and performance. They confront the contradictions of these sports, which begin as wartime training in peacetime and evolve into professional sports and entertainment.
