Agioupa, to Koritsi tu Kampou plot
The unruly Greek orphan girl Agioupa sleeps outside in the fields. She prefers the company of the birds to her fellow villagers. She is often raped by the local farmers. A doctor feels sorry for Agioupa and offers her a place to stay. Agioupa leaves him again when she finds out that he is in love with another woman. Then two farmers, who want to rape Agioupa, get into a fight and one of them is killed.
