After the Harvest plot

"He destroyed everything he touched... His family, his neighbors... His life."

Caleb Gare is the tyrannical head of a Canadian farming family. He treats his relatives like slaves and makes them work and live in poverty all day long. Meanwhile, he tries to own all the land around the farm. His wife Jude was the only person who dared to go against Caleb, but stopped to protect her children. The whole city suffers under Caleb's rule. When the attractive new school teacher Linda Archer arrives, she is determined to do something about the situation.
