Adrift in Soho plot
A young provincial philosopher arrives in the London Borough of Soho sometime in the late 1950s. He befriends James Compton-Street, a Soho native who knows what it takes to survive in one of the city's most challenging parts. Through James, Harry meets numerous strange, unusual local characters whom he is studying for a book he is writing. Harry also meets a group of filmmakers who are putting together a documentary about Soho. Through the eyes of a budding philosopher and the camera lens of a group of filmmakers, the audience looks at the people and lifestyles that shaped a social ghetto in the 1950s, but that would also give the new generation a springboard to discover the world just a few years later. to conquer the world.
