Adopted plot

"One visit can change your life."

The Bakers, a middle-class family with traditional family values, decide to adopt a child after the deadly earthquake in Haiti. This gesture fulfills their desire to "give back" and alleviates further infertility issues with matriarch Rebecca Baker. Nevertheless, despite cultural and racial differences, their decision to expand the family through adoption is short-lived when an unexpected situation causes several things to go wrong.
