Adios Carmen plot

Nador, Morocco in the 1970s. Ten-year-old Amar is waiting for the return of his mother who has left for Belgium. In the meantime, Amar is cared for by his strict uncle. He finds a good friend in his Spanish neighbor Carmen who lives in exile. She works at the local cinema. Carmen lets him discover a world he didn't know before. But then Carmen also has to leave.
