"Nobody ever thinks they'll become a drug addict."
Amy is sent to a shelter by her mother against her will. She thinks she's different from the others until she meets Hal. He is a heroin addict who returns from prison to the shelter. He convinces her to join the drug addiction program. Amy soon learns that her drinking isn't going to disappear overnight, and that she may have a bigger problem than she thought.
