Above and Beyond plot

1940: The Battle of Britain. Sir Winston Churchill is determined to quickly turn the war in favor of the English. But they are bombarded from all sides by German torpedoes and bombarded by the Luftwaffe. When the journalist Lord Beaverbrook says it might be better to let the British planes fly over Canada, most laugh, but Churchill listens carefully. There are many uncertainties, but it could still work.

A miniseries that is historically accurate, but unfortunately does not delve deeper into other events. Consider, for example, the depiction of German U-boats. Fairly entertaining, but not recommended.
