Abduction of Innocence plot

The sheltered-raised Clare, daughter of a wealthy businessman, is kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend Eddie, a working-class son with whom her father no longer allowed Clare to associate. When Clare's father pays the ransom and Eddie is arrested soon after, doubts arise as to whether Clare staged the kidnapping herself.
