Abducted: The Carlina White Story plot

The story begins in 1987, when young mother Joy White gives birth to her daughter Carlina in a Harlem hospital. Nearby is Ann Pettway, who is distraught after having a third miscarriage. The wily Pettway, dressed as a nurse and looking for a baby for herself, encourages the young mother to go home and get some rest. She takes the opportunity to kidnap the child.
