Aamhi Doghi plot

Spanning a period of two decades, Aamhi Doghi looks at Savi at various points in her life - her education in Kolhapur, her turbulent relationship with her father, her surprise when her father marries Ammi, a girl barely older than herself, her newfound independence when she moves to Mumbai, and her reunion with Ammi. Although Savi is not very close to Ammi, she feels a certain fondness for her. And in later life she seems almost a counterweight to Savi's own existence.
