A Town Torn Apart plot

Having had enough of his life in New York, teacher Dennis moves to the town of Winchester to think about the future. However, the blood creeps where it can't go when he sees what goes on at the local school. Absenteeism is high and the police have their hands full trying to keep the children on the right path. When a vacancy becomes available for a new director, Dennis decides to apply. He eventually gets the job and with the help of some dedicated teachers, Dennis sets to work motivating the students and the people of the town and adopting new teaching methods. Not all parents are happy with that and Dennis is fired under great pressure. Initially, he accepts the decision. Until some students persuade him to fight for his job and his ideas.
