Frank is a wealthy lawyer from London who takes a trip to the Devon and Sumerset countryside with a friend. When Frank falls, he is taken care of in a small village by Megan. Frank's friend goes back to the big city, but Frank starts to like life here more and more. Frank and Megan begin a relationship, but when he is cured, he must return to the city. Many years later, he visits the rural village again to find out what happened to Megan.
