A Simple Curve plot

"His parents went back to the land. He's been stuck there ever since."

27-year-old Caleb was raised by his hippie parents in the Kootenaysbossen. His father Jim is in the lumber business, but is a bad businessman. Caleb, who works as an underling with his father, cannot stop his father's financial ruin. When Matthew, an old friend of Jim's, visits to go fishing, Caleb hopes his father will be distracted long enough to get things back on track.
