A Opção plot

Part documentary, part staged, director Candeias immerses himself in the everyday reality of a group of rural women who cut sugar cane. They lead a poor life in dilapidated neighborhoods along the highway. For many of them, prostitution is the only way out (or 'option', as the title implies) to a better life.
