A Man, a Woman, and a Killer plot

On a small ranch somewhere in California, Dick, a former mobster, writes a biography about his criminal past. An assassin is ordered to kill him, because Dick has left the criminal circuit on his own. When Dick finds out he's wanted, a real cat and mouse game begins.
