"Glorious Drama! Thrilling Action! On a Show The Whole Town Will Rave About"
Elnora Comstock is mistreated by her mother Katherine Comstock. Katherine blames her daughter for her father's drowning while he was on his way home the night she was born. However, Elnora feels at home with the childless couple Margaret and Westley Sinton, who live in her neighborhood. They help Elnora with her school expenses, as does the wealthy Mrs. Parker, who also invests in the talented young girl.
