À Deux Pas du Paradis plot

Conductor David Grünberg has a serious heart defect and can only be saved by a transplant. The chance of finding a suitable donor seems minimal. Raphaël Collard, one of the musicians in his orchestra, is eligible. He is a depressed man with suicidal tendencies. He approaches David's wife Eve and says that he is willing to give up his heart on the condition that he can sleep with her for the night. He says if she doesn't agree, he'll put a bullet through the heart.
