"She Had To Find Her Past To Embrace Her Future."

Ellie is a rudderless 26-year-old furniture designer who has yet to set foot in her Los Angeles career. One day she learns that her estranged alcoholic father has suffered a stroke. Unlike her older brother who has accomplished more in life, Ellie feels compelled to return to her Texas hometown. While buying a ticket at the airport, she receives a second phone call informing her that her father has died. Now her world is completely turned upside down. When she arrives in the Texas town, however, she will find the right direction again, her family and friendship in the most unexpected place.
