A Cidade do Futuro plot
19-year-old theater teacher Mila is pregnant. Gilmar, a 27-year-old history teacher, is in a relationship with 19-year-old cowboy Igor. The three of them form an unconventional family. Set in Serra do Ramalho, a town in the arid landscape of Bahia, the film follows the lives of these young people, who are confronted with the community's reaction to their "weird" lives.
