This film tells the life story of Charles Arthur Floyd. Nicknamed 'Pretty Boy', this mobster lived through the Great Depression and went horribly wrong at a young age after his father is killed in a gunfight. He is suspected of murdering his lover's jealous rival, but escapes prison and joins the Kansas City mob. After multiple bank robberies, he tops the FBI's most wanted list.
