Fatu and Idrissa, singer of the band Supercamarimba, are for their wedding in Tabatô, the native village of Idrissa, known for its extraordinary musical tradition. Baio, Fatu's father who left the country after the war of independence, has come to give away his daughter and forget the past. His return, however, brings up gruesome memories of violence.
