52 Wochen Sind ein Jahr plot

Krestan Serbin works on a small working farm. He owns a small field, a few pigs and a cow, all of which he wants to leave to his daughter Lena. In fact, he is not interested in the subject of politics at all. But now the 64-year-old Sorbian farm worker has a problem: he has to join an agricultural cooperative (LPG) and is even presented as an apprentice instructor. While Krestan isn't averse to the new policy, he doesn't want to hand over his property to the new community. And the village is also divided about this new idea.
