"Anugerah atau sumpahan? [A gift or a curse?]"
Budi was born on the leap day February 29, 1896. However, he only gets one year older every four years. As a result, he experiences the entire Malay history, from the colonial years to the Japanese invasion and eventual independence. While such longevity may seem like a gift, it also comes with a downside as Budi keeps seeing those he loves die.
