Abasiri's wife Suddhi left him and her village a long time ago. Now Abasiri and his young friend Mani are summoned to the city to identify a woman who has been raped and murdered. While hiding his personal grief after the shocking discovery that it is his own wife, Abasiri takes the coffin on a strange journey past breathtaking hill stations to his village, where already embarrassing rumors of Suddhi's death are circulating. In the final part of this poetic travelogue, the late Suddhi confronts the villagers with their own hypocrisy and shortcomings.
