24 Hours plot
"The Upperworld and the Underworld Clash in a striking Drama"
Rich Jim Towner is angry because his wife Fanny has been unfaithful to him. Jim goes from one nightclub to another drunk. He falls in love with nightclub singer Rosie Duggan and begins an affair with her. Rosie is then murdered by her boyfriend and mobster Tony Bruzzi. However, Jim is arrested for this crime and has to serve a prison sentence.
