1982 plot

The story is set during the earliest days of the crack cocaine epidemic that ravaged cities in America in 1982. A father struggles to protect his daughter from the harsh reality: her mother is addicted to drugs. He himself is a devoted husband who cannot prevent the breakdown in his relationship. The daughter wonders if her mother is having an affair. In reality, Mother is living in despair and looking for financial means to fund her next dose.
