A group of friends return home after ten years for their high school reunion. We follow seven people over the course of one night as they try to compare current reality with the hopes and desires they had as idealistic teenagers. A rock star reunites with the girl for whom he wrote his most famous hit, two old friends compete for the affection of the most popular girl in the class, and the school bully tries to make amends for his mistakes.

A nostalgic trip. It's weird to divide a movie into storylines, but 10 Years has bad, good and one fantastic storyline. The bad - anything with Pratt, Graynor and Mackie and his buddy. The good - everything with the Tatum's, Long, Porter, Dawson and Collins, and the fantastic storyline is everything with Oscar Isaac and Kate Mara.
That face of Mara when Isaac sings about her yellow shoes… Goosebumps. Those two save 10 Years and ensure that the film will remain in my mind for a while. For the rest, this reunion is not too memorable. That is again realistic.

The attractive cast keeps things going in this comedic drama set during a 10-year high school reunion. Jake [Channing Tatum] comes face to face with his ex-girlfriend Mary [Rosario Dawson], Cully [Chris Pratt] wants to come to terms with his past as a bully, Marty [Adam Driver] and AJ [Max Minghella] want show how successful they are. Linden bumps from one character to another, so there is rarely any depth. Just like at a real reunion, not much happens and so you are mainly listening to fragments of conversations. It wouldn't have been worth the effort without the star power of the cast, although the storyline surrounding Marty, AJ and party animal Sam [Ari Graynor] has a touching conclusion.
