With the funeral of the last ship of the Boelwerf in Temse, the construction of seagoing vessels in Belgium came to an end. The documentary chronicles an industry, from the beginning (wooden boats) to the end (sophisticated seagoing vessels). The saga is also a chunk of socio-economic history. Instead of an unlimited belief in growth, we come to doubts.
