Zirig dum Brasilia plot

In his homeland, the name of Renato Matos, a strong sixties, has been synonymous with samba, reggae and funk for decades. Both relaxed and unmistakably restless, the versatile painter and poet takes us on a journey of discovery through the popular culture of his native Bahia and the modernist capital Brasilia. In this film, the camera follows Matos performances, old friends and his very old father and mother. The trips are interspersed with numerous eulogies from acquaintances and colleagues, and (black and white) photos, newspaper clippings, flyers and archive images of performances and images of his beautiful paintings.
