Zan Be Ravayat-e Mard plot

Containing more than 120 clips from archival films shot almost exclusively by male filmmakers, this documentary portrays the social position of Iranian women and the position they held indoors from 1932 to the 1979 revolution. The patriarchal family, love and deceit, unwanted pregnancies and abortions, arranged marriages and polygamy are the central themes.
