Youngstown Boys plot
Documentary exploring class and power dynamics in college sports through the parallel, interconnected careers of football player Maurice Clarett and former elite head coach Jim Tressel. The men faced each other in Youngstown, Ohio, then united for a magical season at Ohio State University in 2002, which marked the school's first national football championship in more than thirty years. Shortly after, however, Clarett was suspended from college football and found himself in a tailspin that ended with a jail term. Tressel continued at Ohio State for another eight years, until his career ended in scandal there as well.
