"She's doing high school...again."
In 'You Were My First Boyfriend', filmmaker Cecelia Aldarondo returns to the 1990s. She decides to relive her painful school days to come to terms with the moments and memories she has been unable to let go of for twenty years. Aldarondo spent her teenage years in Winter Park, Florida, where she experienced the pain of bullying and participated in the cruelty of denial. This led to blocks during her adulthood. Now she chooses to reopen old wounds and find out what went wrong.
