Yo Nena, Yo Princesa plot
In July 2007, Argentinean Mónica Gabriela Mansilla gave birth to twins; two slightly premature, but healthy boys. One of them, however, slept badly and cried a lot. His earliest words: “Me Girl…. My Princess”. His parents soon learned what that meant. One son naturally played with cars, the other loved dolls, the color pink, wearing mom's clothes and long hair. It turned out not to be a temporary fad of the toddler. Yet the credo of both the pediatrician and the psychologist involved was: ignore and correct. Thus, the parents simply tried to raise their son as a boy. Until the now four-year-old officially introduced herself as Luana. From that moment on, the mother had a daughter and that mainly resulted in incomprehension of the outside world.
