Windjammer und Janmaaten - Die Letzten Segelschiffe plot

Hauser films the daily life of the crew of the sailing ship Pamir, en route from Hamburg to South America. A journey of hard work under difficult circumstances that lasted 110 days. Hauser shows all the details of life on board. The main role of this documentary is for the large sailing ship with four masts. Hauser emphasized the enormous dimensions of the ship. From the masts, this resulted in beautiful mood images in calm seas. He filmed the crew's daily routine and maintenance, as well as their sparse free time. Hauser was able to make the most impressive shots during a heavy storm near Cape Horn, when the headsails were torn to shreds.
