The film attempts to penetrate the dark, tormented world of musician Matt Elliot, known for his one-man project Third Eye Foundation. During rehearsals, interviews and in his writings, he opens up to the filmmakers. Seasoned with some humorous intermezzos, he tells with appalling honesty about his depression, about the magic of inspiration and his strong political convictions. Through his music, at once intimate and menacing, he frees himself from his demons. This intimate portrait impresses with its beautiful, sober black-and-white imagery.
