West of the Jordan River plot

Israeli and Palestinian citizens refuse to accept the unacceptable and try to avoid the consequences of the occupation. Officers, civil rights activists, journalists, widows and even settlers become friends. In the absence of a political decision, these men and women take action themselves and see it as their civic duty to achieve reconciliation. Their life force is a plea to step out of the darkness. Amos Gitai interviews journalists and militants and searches the civilian community for traces of rapprochement and solutions.
