Welcome to Pine Point plot

Multimedia portrait of the lost Canadian mining town of Pine Point. The town was built in the 1960s, but when the zinc and lead ore deposits were exhausted in the late 1980s, the village closed along with the mine: it was literally demolished and wiped off the map. It has existed just long enough for one generation to live there.
