In Colombia, nearly a third of the 102 indigenous groups are threatened with extinction. These people are disproportionately often victims of the long-lasting struggle in Colombia. Many are killed by the actions of the army, paramilitaries and rebels, who are fighting to control the land of the ancestors of these groups.
