Was Bin Ich Wert? plot

Filmmaker Peter Scharf has a bad pension scheme and is also plagued by a persistent foot ailment. The ensuing problems with his self-esteem gives him the perception that he is nothing more or less than a number for a number of large companies, after which he goes in search of the ultimate 'value' of a person. He travels through six different countries and talks to various insured people such as employees, scientists and hairdressers. Confronted with his interlocutors, he gets different results and the strangest and wildest calculation models for the calculations of the 'human value'.
