Vodkafabriken plot

Tatiana (50) and Valentina (22), mother and daughter, live together in the Russian village of Zhigulyovsk. Valentina works at the local vodka factory and moved in with her son Danilo with her mother to avoid her husband's physical violence and alcohol abuse. Tatiana also shares this past. Both women hope for a better life, but the generation gap is pushing them in other directions. Tatiana's lonely existence takes a turn when she finds her old childhood sweetheart after years. But then Valentina leaves her son behind to pursue her dream as a TV actress in Moscow. Tatiana is forced to make a choice between the man and her grandson.
